Year 3 looked at features of a castle, then used this knowledge to design their own. They then built their castle using different 3D recycled materials, such as boxes. They also made 3D nets such as cones, cylinders and cubes, to construct their castles. They then evaluated their castle against the success criteria: strong and stable, clear features of a castle using 3D and 2D shapes.
